What you need to know about RV Insurance

Ownership of an RV can be a considerable investment. But all too often RVers give no thought to the specialized insurance needs of an RV and RV lifestyle. Insurance is not high on the list of concerns until it’s too late.

Automatically insuring your RV by adding coverage to your existing automobile policy can turn out to be a mistake. Typically loss exposures like food, personal belongings, awnings, satellite dishes and campsite liability are just a sampling of what is not covered.

With a personalized insurance package from Diversified, coverage will be tailored to meet your individual use and needs.  Take time now…use the following guidelines to carefully consider your coverage alternatives beyond basic automobile coverage.

RV Lifestyle Liability Options

Full Time Coverage is available if you live in or travel in your RV full time and might lack the personal liability protection normally provided in a homeowner’s policy. Don’t be left financially exposed to certain third party claims not covered by your vehicle insurance.

Vacation (Campsite) Liability protects you up to the policy limit for your legal liability resulting from lawsuits, if you are negligent while using your RV as temporary living quarters.

RV Emergency Vacation Expenses

Emergency Expense Allowance will pay up to defined limits for your hotel stay or your travel home, if you are over 50 miles from home or a storage location and your RV is damaged or destroyed by a covered cause of loss.

Sign 7 Drive RV Towing and Roadside Assistance

Reasonable Expense RV Towing means you don’t have to rely on the meager $100 towing coverage in automobile policies. Consider being surprised with a $2,000 towing bill. Our coverage pays the “reasonable” expense of towing your RV to the nearest qualified RV repair facility.

RV Roadside Assistance For Your RV is available 24/7/365, Toll Free. With certain companies, you can even opt to cover all the automobiles in your household.

*"SIGN & DRIVE" means you do not incur out of pocket expenses; just sign the receipt and you’re back on the road.
